MTLGRAFF originally started as a blog (2009-2014) meant to deliver images and general content on the Montreal graffiti and arts scene. While photo documentation is the main focus of this site, it will also be a space for a deeper discussions on arts and politics, perception and representation, urban development, inclusion and exclusion, social justice, and other topics.

MOVING FORWARD

Outside of archiving the old blog I intend to transfer that content to this platform and update any previous postings where relevant. Expect to see images of the Montreal scene, but also of the many other cities, places, people, and cultures. My academic and personal travels have, and continue to, put me in touch with writers, artists, and a host of other professionals and enthusiasts from around the globe.
